Steven has over 15 years of experience working with Unix-based systems, including both low-level systems engineering and administration of large networks of systems. He is particularly distinguished for his work with the distributed filesystem AFS (earlier known as Andrew File System), especially the OpenAFS implementation.
He also has over 10 years of experience with Perl, relational databases, and web development. He has worked in academia and in industry in a variety of roles.
